Anesthetics for elasmos

I could have used these in the past, but never had them on hand. What do you use when you need to tube feed or perform a short procedure? (biopsy)

Tricaine (Finquel, MS-222) or Quinaldine Sulfate (Quinate)

I also came across Tranquil (http://www.nationalfishpharm.com/products5.html)
but I am not sure what it is.

I've used MS-222 with finfish.

Ive wanted to do a biopsy on these black dots/spots on my California Round Rays also so I am interested also.

I use Tricane (MS-222) when I can. We use Q for knocking things down while collecting, but it seems to be a bit more harsh to gills and sometimes I've seen animals have odd reactions to it.

I've done long surgeries before using 222 and have also used it for short term health assesment situations and tubing when the animal is too active to tube without sedation.
