I have just one long finned angelfish in my 30 gallon tank. Wondering if I could put a betta in with it? I don't want it's fins ripped up... would there be enough room for maybe a betta pair?

I haven't had luck with bettas with my angels, both end up with ripped/nipped fins and I tried it more then once.I've seen some tanks where it worked but IMO chances r slim. Also if u get a betta pair the male will probably harass the female until death. They're usually kept separated and only put together when breeding brefly.
