I have 3 7-8" angelfish and i wanna know if i can put them in with my 6-7" bgk and 6-7 clown knife. They will go in a 55 gallon long til i get a bigger tank. Is it possible?

pretty sure its the 48x12x24 or whatever. there is an 4ft or 3ft 18in wide version, unsure of the height, but iirc it measures out to only about 50g.
are the knives already together? i dont think theyre very compatible. the clown will shread your BGK from what ive learned. but of course there always are the odd couples with tank mating.
if anything, they should be fine for a while. what are they currently in? once the knives get to be 10-12in, i would be sure to have a bigger home already.

the 2 knives play nice together. been together for over a month now. the clown swims around and the bgk never leaves his log. theunytedone is correct its 48x12x24 or 18 (average is 55 lol) this weekend im gonna replace the gravel with sand and was wondering if i can add angels in there? i have 4 big gouramis i will take out for the angelfish. and yes the knives will get a bigger tank. im already lookin for a larger tank as both knives are growing an inch a month...crazy
I would say that the black ghost knife would be a perfect mate for your discus, the clown i have no experiance but from what i have seen and read they get way larger and more aggressive.
so the bgk would be ok with the angelfish but the clown will get too nig and aggressive to be with angelfish?
BGK is fine with angels. Clown knives however should be kept away from either of the two fish. A month long is not enough to conclude the combination nor should the combo be encouraged anyway since clown knives in general will tear off their tankmates if given the chance.
