so i had this monster of a crayfish that was attacking everything it even tried to attack my common wolf fish with the wolf fish running away everytime. it attacked my wifes angel so i moved it then it killed my new jaguar cichlid when i moved it to my cichlid tank. it was doing a great job keeping my substrate clean i had 2 then it cannibalized the other one and went down hill from there this crayfish was about 3.5" and my jag was about the same size.

 Crayfish can do some damage especially in a tight space. It is usually in defense like being picked at or backed in a corner. Most of the time they just wanna be left alone to scavange. "T"

Was it one of those blue crays? Ime they are more aggressive than the common north American red crays. I've kept crays for awhile, even with fancy goldfish (I mean you can catch orandas with your hand). They don't usually attack unless they are either starving, or being picked on.

I used to have a blue crayfish that was 6+ inches, eventually I had to move her into her own tank coz she almost killed my clown loach, she just got more aggressive as she got older and she even attacked my hand when I cleaned the tank, unfortunately my house got infested with fleas and my mom let off some flea gas bombs in the house, she covered up the main tank but forgot about the Cray tank, so yea basically he got gassed to death
