Just trying to get some opinions. What do you think would look better in a 125 gallon display tank. A group of the same type of angels (Say all silver or all black) or a group of all mixed types? (Marble, Black, Blushing, Silver etc.) Thinking about 6 to 8 fish total. Thoughts?

id say all the same. ive seen mixed and i dont like how it looks.

id say a group of mixed angels. let us know what you end up choosing

Hi. If you are only thinking 6-8 of them I like the look of a school of all the same type. I have a 120 4x2x2 with lots of dw and baby geos and lemon tetras(they may get rehomed as they were put in to make the baby geos feel more secure in such a big tank) and am adding a school of 6 baby angels that are all silver with black.. even tho I have an adult koi in there as well..I like the look of a family rather than one of this and one of that.. but also alot depends on what else is going in the tank and how it is aquascaped.. I'd love to see pics as it progresses.:popcorn:.. Sue:D

I would pick a few types that go together I have found that black & white marble/black velvet/zebra lace varieties go well together. Maybe 2-3 of each type.

Hi.. Thanks Num3rs.. I've had adult angels before and am aware of that and will be watching to see if the adult gets protective of the babies or defensive.. I will not be adding them for about another week as they are dime size mostly and I want them to be eating machines before being added so they can easily compete for food. If the adult gets pissy I will remove him to another tank or rehome him.. Sue:D
