Angel fish + african chichlids??

is this a terrible plan? my buddie is buying a new tank and a probally 4-5inch angle fish is comming and he dosnt want it so I sujested we pt it in my african chichlid tank which is 110g there are 5 cichlids 2 rope fish a bisher and 2 plecos in the tank. what do u think

That would depend on your water conditions. If your tank is highly mineralized, no angels. If you are keeping the Africans at neutral pH without having raised the hardness, then it could work if the angel can hold his own against the africans. Typically, I'd advise 'no' on something like this, but to be honest, I'd personally at least give it a try if the water is soft enough. Be ready for anything, though.

I've always heard this was a bad plan. That even if the angel could survive the water change it wouldn't survive the africans nipping. Let us know if it works out though.. would be a pretty mix.
