This picture looks like P. scalare found in the mancapuru region. It has the red back normally associated with fish from that area. Without a collection point were only guessing. You asked about species and as far as that goes that are P. scalare. Where did you get them? Were they sold as manacapuru scalare?

I've just turned on the light n snapped these pics, they freaked out, then I turned the light off.
Yes, they were sold as manacapuru, they were also locally breed here in South East Asia.

From those pictures it looks like you got what you paid for, tank breed red shoulder scalare. Nice fish.

so they are manacapuru afterall? sorry i am not familiar with angel fish n names

Well yes and no. Manacapuru is a town in the state of Amazonas in the country of Brazil. The Rio manacapuru and lago manacapuru are the places around where these fish originate and take one of their common names. They are also called red shoulder or red back angelfish, they are a race of P. scalare which is the species. Wild caught specimens would be considered "P. Scalare, Manacapuru" and typically display the red back to varying degrees normally associated with the fish from this region. Once they are tank breed they should technically no longer be considered "manacapuru" but instead red shoulder or red back angelfish since they are not from but rather descendant from fish collected in the area around Manacapuru in Brazil. So yes and no, I hope I explained that clearly.
