In the fish section LOL
I have the results of my past spawn they have grown up, I have a breeding pair but i bought them full grown They have spawned twice I want to know the minumm size for angel fish to be sexually mature and able to spawn succesfully Now i wnat my fry to have some eggs!@

sometimes they will spawn as early as 6 mos., but maybe more like 9 mos is more common.

Quarter sized body or so...

windsurfer.

Expect about 6 months. Mine would begin to start spawning as early as 1.5", the quarter size, is not even close though, they aren't ready to begin breeding yet. Now, if you want them to take care of their spawns, expect more like 8-9 months, and sometimes never.

i have around 10 and they are all in the same tank will the compatition stop from the others spawning And i am not sure if i can make out any pairs yet how can i tell. I am not inexperianced i just havent got a pair form eggs yet

when they pair off you will often see them gaurding an area, and chasing off any intruders. Also watch for lip locks.

Also watch for them cleaning an area within their territory. A day or two before they actually spawn you will notice the female ovipositor drop and should be able to see the male's papilla. Both are located right in front of their anal vent.

something I've noticed with mine is that when females spawn at a young age/small size they tend to stay smaller than other siblings who did not. Also, brother/sister pairs may not produce the best offspring...too much inbreeding weakens the strain.

I have noticed that when the angels start breeding early their growth slows down dramatically, but they still eventually will gain full size.

When observing the tank, i noticed that some of the angels were cleaning one of the 2 slates i have in there, i noticed a loose pair but nothing dramatic they were not fighting with the other angels, also i haev on of my males that was their dad in with them, he seems to be bothering some of them shoudl i take him out. Will he mess with the young angels spawning

It could be pre-spawning, or just early instincts kicking in. Keep an eye on them, you will see the change.
