What does a angel breeding tank need?
Tank size 20g 2'-17"-12"
Can it just be heater and sponge with air pump?
Or does it need a powerhead?
Just 3-4 angels till a pair forms.

I don't know much about Angels but I have seen 6" in the lfs. 20g seems a bit small.

I thought so too, but been looking up alot of stuff about it and most breeders on youtube just have a pair in a 20g with a heater and a sponge filter which seems weird, which is why I am hoping to get some more info on here.

You can breed a pair in a 20. I don't use it as their perminent home however. Set the tank up with a sponge filter, heater and a vertical surface for them to lay eggs on. A tall piece of slate, a breeding cone etc. What type of angels are you planning on breeding?

Nice, good luck with your project.

Leave the powerhead out....Less the better.....No substrate.........Try one or two strands of long leaved plant's..........The plant is used for egg deposit.....A brick or flate slate rock can also be used......
