angel question

hi im new to keeping community tanks and i have a 29 im about to start cycling and i was wondering whats the smallest species and how many could i keep in a tank with some lil rams runnin around the bottom and maybe some cories. any of you experienced angel fish keepers out there plz point me in the right direction to a nice site or plz just lemme kno which species stays the smallest cuz i wanna keep like 2 or 3 in it also they are top water fish right? top - mid the bottom will be open in middle with some live plants and clay pots along the bottom for the lil rams. any info would really help

whtas the size of your tank ??
remember angels can get bigger and I think it may be a bit small for them.

29gals, yep angles will get bigger. i would go with.apistolegamma sp. they are cichlids also.

no, there aren't really different types of freshwater angelfish (pterophyllum scalare). And a pair by themselves could be kept in a 30g, but I would hesitate to add too much more as they can get feisty.
