so i noticed my marble angel missing. well i found him stuck in one of the holes in the holey rock. i managed to free him but he was looking pretty bad. got him put away alone and he might pull through. my question is why would my angel squeeze himself in there like that. hes about 2.5 inches and its a community tank so i know nothings picking on him. any comments will help. other then some blue rams and Colombian rams i havnt had any experience with angels this is my first one.

yeah its th only angel in the tank. theres 3 german rams and 2 columbian rams, the other fish are about 15 zebra danions 15 neons 5 balas 4 clowns 3 rosey barbs about 8 cories and 3 small khulli's
I would watch the barbs. They have a tendancy to be fin nippers..the angel might be trying to get away from them. And it is possible if you have a pair to get some aggression from the rams. Ive seen them bully full grown discus. But really for the most part they tend to leave everything else alone except during spawning. Then they can turn into little tank terrors trying to defend the spawning site or young.
