I have three angels in a 30gal tall with live plants (that I seem to constantly hack back to keep them from overgrowing the tank!). The tank has been established for at least 3 years, and we've had the angels in this tank almost since the beginning.
Several weeks ago the lips on two of the angels started puffing up.
Doing a lengthy google search all I could find was suggestions to test the water (the first thing I did before starting my search), and make major water changes (the second thing I did before starting my search.) Basically all the pages I read claimed it was due to a virus, and therefore untreatable.
In the meantime, one of my angels has returned to normal. But the other one has continued to grow worse.
Attached are two pictures of the angel. Any suggestions on how to treat this poor fish?
