I'm new to angelfish breeding. I picked up 6 koi angelfish 2 weeks ago hoping for at least one pair. Lucky me . . . A pair has already formed and they are spawning. Already have at least 100 eggs. I feel kind of bad for them since the tank also has 5 Geophagus Red Head Tapajos and 8 Roseline Sharks that are trying to get to the eggs. I'm going to go to the hardware store and buy a light diffuser/egg crate to make a separator.

Anyways, now to my questions. This is a 125G tank that I hoping to add a few more fish. Some cories, apistogramma cacautoides, and maybe another species of Geos. I want the main focal point of my tank to be the Red Head Tapajos. Now that I have a mated pair of Angelfish, can I get rid of the 4 remaining Angels? Should angels be in groups? Would the mated pair be fine as the only angelfish in this community tank? What would you do if this tank was yours?
