That is very cool!! I wonder if they are breeding wild strains there as well?

I am glad it was enjoyed. I don't think there is any money in wild strains when you are putting out 2-3million angels a year. I think maintaining wild strains is something the hobby and small scale breeders should focus on. The large farms are providing the volume that keeps pet stores open and manufacturers of filters, food, and aquariums in business so we can have what we need to keep fish affordably.
 
Let's just hope these fish are being properly cared for. There was a huge surge in pets of all kinds during the lock downs as people were bored. Once things re-opened where I am at there was a huge increase in pets (dogs & cats) being dumped at shelters as people no longer wanted them once they could venture out again. As far as I'm concerned these types should not have pets; they don't deserve them.

Unfortunately it happened in my state. I understand what your saying but some people can care less about animals or fish.
