I've got six young/small angels in my 90 gallon. They're all doing great, and seem to be growing quickly. My smallest's body (just the body, not including fins) is about the size of a quarter, and the largest's is about the size of a silver dollar.

Anyway, my question is, how fast do Angel's typically grow? How long is it likely to take them to reach their full adult size (which I read is 5-6", but am not clear if that includes fins or not?)? At what age/size are they considered mature and likely to start pairing off? Is there anyway to tell how old they are now? I've had them for 3 weeks, and they've gained a ton of color and gone up about 1/3 in size.

I'm not interested in breeding or anything (although if it happens, it happens), more just wanting to be more informed about my fishies :)

Expect them to be sexually mature and thinking about pairing up after about 6-8 months, but they wont be full grown then. Like most fish they pretty much grow all their lives, but the growth rate slows down a lot as they mature. Your small ones are probably only a couple of months old, as you have noticed they grow fairly fast when they are young, as long as they have good conditions and food.

Cheers
