Angelfish numbers

I currently have 6 angels in my 55 gallon body wise they are 4.5 inches roughly. I have 2 pairs and two odd balls. they all get along great but I am concidering taking the two oddballs to an auction in the morning so the breeding pairs will have more room for comfort.

Good Idea? Bad Idea? do not want to upset the balance in the tank ad cause extra aggression... some times the extra fish keep others on good behavior

I would leave them in the tank. With two breeding pairs, your bound to get some aggression and the extra fish will allow it to be dispersed more evenly.
