I have a 125 gallon peaceful community tank. With platy's, gouramis, 2 schools of tetras, a green severum and a angelfish. I am completely in love with angelfish. I would like to add more angelfish even if that means rehoming my severum. Can I keep more than one angelfish together without them killing each other? If so how many more can I add? Will I need to rehome the severum if I add more angelfish? Thanks

Angels do best in groups of 5+. They pick on one another to establish a hierarchy and can get nasty, especially at feeding time - they are cichlids afterall. You could fit a group of 5-6 in your 125 w/o an issue.

You can try to keep the sev with them, many people keep them together. I had bad luck with it & found sevs were too aggressive. I would give it a shot though.

Great! So I would need to add atleast 4 more? Thats great. Imma get more soon. Thanks

A group of five minimum will do fine. Remember to keep up with your water changes. Angels are sensitive to high nitrates.

I would give it a shot. I think your problem will be aggression instead of too much bio-load. Sevs & angels work for some people, didn't work for me.

Shouldn't be a problem as long as the angels & severums are around the same size. The sevs are slightly more aggressive by nature, so you don't want them to pick on the angels.
Angelfish will grow and mature faster than the sevs, & then you have to consider breeding aggression.
