This is one of my two Angelfish. The LFS called him/her a "Black Lace" coloration. My question is regarding the absence of verticle black stripes. I bought two of these colored angels and the smaller of the two has a very faint black verticle line. I find the coloration fine the way it is, I was just wondering if Angels lose thier stripes while stressed or if these fish just lack stripes. My water quality is good, 6.8 ph, 0 ppm Ammonia, 0 ppm Nitrite, <15 ppm Nitrate, and i have had the two angels for over a month now and they are growing fine so there is really no reason for me to believe they are stressed. Any feedback is welcome.
