Just bought myself two angelfish to put in my 80 litre tank.
They were fine in the shop, I've got them home, slowly introduced them into my tank and they're acting really strangely.
They're both just staying in the top corner of the tank, not really moving anywhere.
At first, one of them just kept slowly floating on his side and then going back upright. It's stop doing this now, but they're both just in the corner, one moves about more than the other and just before, it got stuck to the intake on the filter. They won't eat either.
Anybody know what's up with them?

what are the tank parameters?

Ammonia
Nitrite
Nitrate
PH
Temp

How long has the new tank been set up? How did you cycle it?

BTW 80L for 2 angels is a tad small. They will eventually need a larger tank. (150+)

Once we understand the above Qs we can guide you.

With 80L that works out to just over 20gal which will be fine for 2 angels only.

Were water parameters in the bag and the tank very different?
Turn the lights out for a day or two and don't feed yet.

maybe they got something well at the fish store. are the parameters are not right and the temp is to high. like cockroach said turn out the lights for a day or two and let them a-just to there new home.

Sorry for the late reply.
All the levels in my tank are fine. I tested again today.
Sadly, one of the Angelfish died.
I didn't have any lights on the tank until this morning.

Sorry to hear that. How did you acclimatize them? Your original post says "slowly introduced them into my tank". Can you tell us what you did exactly.

Maybe this could help us to give you our opinions on what may have happened.

Hi, sorry again for the late reply, I haven't been able to get at the computer much.

I sat the bag in the water for 20 mins
Cut open the bag
Let some water from the tank into the bag
Let it sit for another 20 minutes
Then let the fish out into the aquarium.

Hope that helps,
Thanks again
Chris
