So I came home from work last night to find my "show tank" which is to be upgraded shortly was full of eggs all over the glass, decor, plants, everywhere.. In the tank is a small army of assorted Cory cats, a few species of pleco, and a few different angels. Well everybody decided to spawn last night while I was at work. Several female corys laid all over the 6' glass tank and the 3 semi adult angels (two black lace females & one male ID?) had two spots. I think he's courting both females....
My Man.. 

It has rained substantially in my location of the past few days which I believe may have triggered the mass multi species spawning. They can definitely sense or feel the barometric pressure created by storms. Here's what I came home to

Check out this video on YouTube:

The juvie angels are "High Coverage" Orange Koi.
Let me know what you guys think.

That's really cool. What's the plan? ;)

Check out those caves. Chances are the plecos have laid, too.

No plan really. At least not until I put them into species specific tanks. The angels I will definitely try to breed but for now I'll just let them be. I did have a couple different pairs of plecos spawn in other tanks in the fishroom.

Conditions must have been good for the corys, and better to be species specific tank for themas possible of cross breeding. Looks like you can breed them and the angels as you have met their needs

Thanks!!
I try my best to keep up with the 40+ tanks and everyone seems happy. Eventually species will be separated into their own tanks but for now I'm just trying to keep em happy. I have bred angels before I was just waiting for this group to pair off. The corys have spawned in this tank a few times and once I tried to scrape the eggs and hatch them but was unsuccessful. I really believe they can "feel" the weather patterns. I had a few other species specific tanks spawn at the same time including discus, L144's, and severums.
