i was wondering if i could keep a black ghost knife, 2 discus, 2 angelfish, and 14 neon tetras in a 55 gallon?

You can, I would dump the Angels get 5 Discus, Neons are food for Angels and Discus when the Discus/Angels reach full size...
Definitely go with one or the other and get a group of 4 or more. I'd stay away from angels in groups just due to aggression once paired towards all tankmates.
i agree with all the above. go with a group of discus and the neons will be eaten. by the knife and the discus. putting a kniffe in a 55 is about the smallest tank youll be able to keep it in!
