Angels had eggs

A friend of mine had these two in a 40 gallon community and came home from school one day to fine they had eggs..

Did you check their ovipositors to determine their genders? Sometimes two females can pair off and lay eggs but all eggs will be infertile. First time spawners usually will eat the eggs. It takes a few trials before they realize what they are supposed to do.
