I am fairly new to Angels, My mother has 4 in her 55gallon at work she had a mysterious disease wipe out most of the fish but somehow the angels survived as well as a 12" pangasius catfish. There is one angel gaurding tons of eggs while the other 3 chase the catfish away. She wants to know if she should put a divider in the tank, or just leave them all be. What are the chances of any of the eggs making it without the divider? She did not intend on breeding, but the tank is in a nursing home and she thought some of the residents might find it interesting to see the eggs hatch and watch the fry grow. So any suggestions?? We have a few empty tanks at home for the fry if need be.

Step 1. Do you know how big the iridescent shark gets? Pangasius hypophthalmus.
Step 2. Leave the angels. Chances are they'll spawn again in 2-3 weeks.
I like to give people an Idea of how big these iridescent sharks actually grow.

yes I know how big they get. We are planning an indoor pond (one of those intex metal frame swimming pools) in the near future.

well she went in this afternoon and all the little squiggly babies were no where to be seen. Don't know if they were eaten, got sucked up in the filter or what happened. She actually has 2 pairs in the tank so I am sure they will spawn again :)

well apparently she jumped the gun she went in last night and they are still there. she put a tank divider in for the moment and in the next couple weeks she will be able to move the lil ones to a 30 gallon by themselves. she seperated the parents because she caught the male snacking on a free swimmer.
