Bred this guy myself, and the discus came from Ryan. Thought it was a nice contrast :) Wish I could get them in focus together tho :(

Hope this doesn't get to moved to the angels/discus board...please... :)

Very cool contrast indeed. Those albinos' colors really popped on a dark background. It's a shame that doesn't happen with non-albino discus. :D

Nice discus. They look amazing!

Satanoperca lilith = 1 spot on the flanks & 1 on the caudal peduncle.
Satanoperca daemon = 2 spots on the flanks & 1 on the caudal peduncle.
Satanoperca acuticeps = 3 spots on the flanks & 1 on the caudal peduncle.

^ there now they can't move it with some good eartheater info in here ;) The contrast is beautiful, I really like how orange the discus are. Nice to see a fish you bred and raised out as well. I've always loved angels and have yet to own one.

The discus are albino goldens. At my house they were more of a mustard yellow color, but with Peter's dark background and (most likely better) lighting, they are definitely turning a pretty orange color. Because they are albino and lack black pigment, you can keep them on a dark background and instead of going dark they just intensify in color. It really brings out the reds and oranges.

Any breeding activity yet, Peter? They were laying eggs occasionally for me but they ate them as soon as they deposited them.
