i got 3 zebra and to koi angel im feeding just straight tetra tropical fish flakes now what else should i feed them i wanna give them more of a variety in there food any help greatly appreciated thanks in advance Nic :)

tetramin pro crisps, color bits, frozen brine shrimp, frozen bloodworms, baby cichlid gold pellets by hikari, and there is a food made with krill and it has an angel on the package (it comes in a small canister) it is called soft and moist, it is a breeder conditioner so it should be pretty nutritious for them.

To get a rich depth of color with good growth and to bring to breeding condition I like adding elodea to the tank (they nibble on it a little) and also using white worms, black worms, mosquito larvae, rinsed live brine shrimp, fairy shrimp, and minced red worms.
I like using a well varied diet. In a well established tank of sufficient size with a fair ammount of plantings I was taking angels from $1.19 nickle sized fish to full grown spawners in well under a year, after they bred the first time I would sell the mated pairs, I had a waiting list.

Thank you gonna go back tonight and buy them some different foods

i wanted to put like 5 or 6 german blue rams in there will there be any problem in compatability

I have never kept rams but a lot of fish just can't resist nipping on the fins of angels.

gonna have to get alot more info on them and compatibility i really wanna keep them i love there color but i dont want to put my angels at any risk

I have a 55 gallon with 8 angels and 2 german rams. The rams leave the angels alone. I don't know how 6-8 would do in with angels but mine do ok.

Yeah, I feed my angels the flakes, which they tolerate, but i also feed them frozen brine shrimp (with spirulina, because without it they are just empty calories), frozen bloodworms (hikari puts out good ones). Make sure to thaw out before putting in tank. Also, live blackworms are a good food too if you can find them. My larger adults also get small ghost shrimp and baby guppies once in a blue moon. EXPERIMENT! They like the beefheart and other freshwater foods. (Ask for a freshwater multipack of frozen food at your pet store)

 so i went to the lfs and the fresh water guys told me i could keep the rams with the angels with no problem so friday im buying 5 or 6 of them wooo hooo finally gonna have more fishys :headbang2 also got hikari cichlid food and some freeze dried blood worms for them
