I have an adult anglefish that has developed a hole on the side of it's mouth and some red where the fins meet the body
tank size: 55 gallons
tankmates: 4" sen bichir, 4" butterfly fish, 3" aspistogramma (not sure exact name)
the tank has been set up for about 6 months
water perams: ph 7.6 ppm nitrates 0 ppm ammonia .4 ppm nitrites pppm
No decorations except for plants
Other: using a Rena xp3 feeding the butterfly fish 1 or 2 crickets a day bichir and cichlid get shrimp pellets and the Anglefish gets blood worms and flake

Could you please take photos of the affected areas? Do a water change until your nitrite is back to zero. Isolate the fish in a hospital tank operated with heater and sponge filter.

I can't seem to get a clear enough picture of the area and the nitrites are back to zero.
Any specific medications I should use?

I would not recommend any meds without getting pic first. The reddening areas though are easily corrected by clean water alone. As for the holes, I still need the pics.
