Folks,
I found four particularly nice locally-bred juv angles in the shop a few weeks ago & was growing-out in the loaches snail-tank.
Diet of mozzie-larvae and the randy little scamps laid, all eaten by snails. Relaid last week & I moved the substrate so snails could't access, now we've got 30~50 wee wiggly-tails. Neet'O

Dad's a psycho & getting the protection job done, but at what point will he start to gobble? At what point must I partition or move the four - I'd prefer not to as they'll likely spawn again toot-sweet with rainy-season grub.

Or better to move the babies? - How does this happen - fine net or coffee cup?
I've got a planted greenwater system adjacent with ostracods & guppies, though also a freeswimming shrimp that might (also) predate. Also no bubbler & no idea the water parameters - guppies & bugs are fine but juv mystery snails aren't surviving 48hrs.
