Hi , i got a pair of black tiger oscars, the problem with them is they dont tolerate anything which is in white color ranging from white oscars too white convicts they are very aggresive towards white color fishes.
They are housed in 3 foot aquarium area as the rest is partitioned for small baby convicts firemouth. Couple of days back i try to add two white oscars
What happen was the white oscar beat the hell on the black one i removed them and gave them back. Now tried to addd some white cons they started chasing them as the size was small. Today i added a breeding pair of cons
one white male and other stripped female. they beat the hell on the white con.
is it due to space constriction or something else is wrong.
My tank is 100g 5 foot wide.
and the oscars are 6 inches long.
the bitten con is 4 inch long.

i keep a tiger oscar 10in and a albino tiger oscar 6in perfectly fine with eachother in my 90 gallon tank i guess it just depends on the fish sorry dont kno their sex

well currently in that tank i mean in that area this is a black striped con 3 inch and a hybrid(fader flowerhorn+ green texas) 5 inch with the two oscars. its in this 3 foot area
and the rest of the 2 foot is reserved for some cons and a pair of firemouth all 2 inches.
i dont have any space so they are in this tank
what i feel like
if i remove the oscars for a day or two from the tank and keep them in my other tank
and then again put them back in this envoirment .They might show less aggression
but again
its an assumption.

I am guessing it is a space issue. 100g is more than fine for two oscars. But when you are only using 3/5 of that space, and you have 2 Tiger Oscars that are 6", A a 5" FH, and then Cons there may be some issues.

Do you have clay pots, or hiding places for the cons (other fish that may be feeling the wrath of the oscars)

You said you don't have any space, so where are you going to remove to the Oscars to? I don't know if I would try to move them over and over, might be stressful.

I say find a 10 or 20g, use filter media from your 100g and syphon water from it to fill the 20g, then move the small cons in there. You can grab a sponge filter, air stone, and heater for next to nothing. That way you can take the divider out of the 100g.

Space issue! If it was the 2 of them you'd be fine obviously and 2 oscars in a 100g with nothing more is perfect; adding other fish is overstocking. Just my 2 cents though.
