I just shot this video of my umbee community.

It shrank down to 4 from 7 yesturday.

I sold my 3 smaller Rapps spawned 2.5 inch umbees because they were getting pounded by the Conkel spawned F1. I suspect all my umbees are males.

The other 3 bigger 3.5 inch Rapps spawned F1's are now getting dominated by the 3.5 inch Conkel F1.

As you can see in this video the other umbees are getting chased and 1 stays under the sponge filter all the time , only comming out to feed.

This Conkel F1 dominated the group of 15 umbees he was with at sharkaquarium as well.

This is a prettty bad dude I have that may end up being alone. Notice how his face turns black when he gets angry and chases the others.

dam he's pretty thick and fat!! My 6 are half size to your's

Last fish I seen with that type of aggression was a Red Devil at Shark Aquarium. I swear he'd have ripped my face off if he could have gotten through the glass... Glad you other fish have hiding places.

I suggest adding more decor (wood, pots, etc..) By him being so aggressive @ such a small size is gonna hinder the others eating and growth and thus creating a bigger issue for yourself when trying to house them together.

My main goal is to have a show stopper solo male in a tank some day.

Since I can't afford to get a General offspring or location X male , maybe this guy will be that 1.

I am selling my other 3 umbees so 1st come 1st serve.

^^^ gotcha, well if you can't do an X I am sure you get some of the general fry..... :shakehead

Agreed, not to mention that looks like a 40g breeder. Thats not a lot of room for that many Umbees. Hope you unload the rest fast.

Its a 75 gallon.

I do want to unload the other umbees fast. Problem is nobody is willing to buy them.
