Im so sick of all the animal cruelty i've heard about within oh......the past few days. 3 accounts, 3 days. Ok. Maybe they werent "legally" animal "abuse", but thats irrelevant

1 - Thursday - Peruvian Dog Killings

Warriors in tribal Peru apparently get bored when there's no war. Naturally, they train. But instead of using a stuffed sack, a tree, or each other, they go out around town and catch a few dogs. They take em into a field or something, tie em up, and kill them. How, i dont know and dont want to. Its disgusting. I couldn't read the article all the way through. I dont understand what could be accomplished by this. No skills improve, as the dogs obviously cant fight back. The dogs arent even eaten after they're killed. they're just disposed of, simple as that.

2 - Today - Wolf Hunts

Fish and Wildlife just, and i mean JUST removed gray wolves off the endangered species list. This is the first spring/summer of this. So, to celebrate the occasion, F&W opened the wolf hunt this season, saying their numbers were too high. THEY JUST GOT OFF THE ****ING ESL! HOW THE **** IS THAT TOO HIGH?

3 - Today - Rattler in the Suitcase

Some dude took a vacation. When he got home and started to unpack, he was bitten by a Canebrake Rattlesnake that snuck into his suitcase. He did what he was supposed to: called 911, got his belongings out of his bag with a pair of tongs, and left the snake alone until the ambulence arrived. The authorities, on the other hand, did the stupidest thing i've ever heard of: froze it alive. Could've called in a pro, or animal control, and handle it with care and respect, and ship it home, but no. It's better to kill it. It bites, kill it. It's ugly, kill it. Your dogs can bite, and im sorry, but cutsie toy dogs like Pekes and Affenpinschers can be pretty ****ing ugly. And not only was this snake doing what came naturally, but it wasnt even an adult. I mean it was maybe 6, maybe 8 in long, tops. Bull****.

Humans disgust me. I welcome our downfall with open arms.

The snake would have gone into hibernation like fish, it would have died humanely (If a snake bites me I'm going to want payback)... Also, saying the warriors are tribal I'm guessing this is tradition....

This stuff happens, just deal with it.

welcoming humans downfall seems a little harsh. but you are welcome to your opinion.

When i said they froze it, i didnt mean put it in an iced enclosure. i meant they blasted the suitcase with dry ice. you tell me that's humane. and as for the tribal thing, yeah, i know its tradition, but a tradition like that should never have started. And had the dogs not been prevented from fighting back, i would be much more understanding.

And, yeah, its harsh, but after all the ways we've ****ed the world up and the things that live in it, its nothing. we deserve it

that's a very bold statement, considering not all of us abuse animals.

I don't think the dry ice would really harm (hurt, pain) the snake, they have a scales which are much different to our skin, and prolly didn't burn it.

BTW, I'm not trying to say that they did the right thing.

i think people do unjustly abuse animals. What did they do to us? and the downfall of human kind would benefit just about every other species in the wold except rats and termite/pest bugs lol

1. weeeeell i cant understand that one either, lol.

2. are they really celebrating? no i doubt that, but there numbers are high enough to be taken off the endangered species list. The hunting season must be regulated to protect there numbers fromn falling too low. and i would imagine thats what is being done, might wanna ease up on that one.

3. That would be a result of ignorance, but not something that i would hurt anyone over.

the downfall of the evil wickedness of man will end when christ comes back, in the meantime, repent and believe. :)

Liam: you're right, but i'm sure everyone has done at least one thing that harmed the environment in some way. even im guilty. no one's perfect. About the snake, pain is irrelevant. It's the fact that they killed it without good reason.

Puffcrusader: thank you. you're the first person to completely agree with me and say either im wrong, im too harsh, or "just suck it up"

delgado: sorry man. atheist lol. and the hunt wouldnt PREVENT their numbers from dropping, but CAUSE them to. they're hunting wolves because the numbers reached 5000, just enough to get them of the ESL

why let these things bother you? if you really know just all the horrible horrible things people do you'd probably suffer a stroke right about now.

I don't spend my time getting angry over something 10K miles away and has absolutely nothing to do with me (nor is there anything I can realistically do about it).

Sorry, I didn't really read through them...I can't read that stuff sometimes, it just get to me :irked:
