I've been getting several different pages consisting of people abusing baby monkeys in various ways on my feed. The pages are quite disturbing, most of the videos features a guy supposedly saving a monkey from some dangerous situation that one wouldn't expect a monkey to be in in the first place....one vid even featured a dog mauling a baby monkey as the poor thing screamed out in pain.
I've reported the pages to FB several times and they've offered the same bs reply each time....that they don't see any problem with the content.

Here is a screenshot I took of one of the "rescuers" amusing himself.

I understand that PETA have actually bought shares in Facebook too back in 2019. They did this to gain access to their AGM's so they could ask questions regarding this very disturbing subject. However, in the subsequent four years that have passed it seems they've made little inroads into the problem.

Maybe they're too busy trying to put an end to our hobby than deal with real problems!

That's fckd, I hope something is done about this (at least a permanent ban, at best serious legal action)
Apparently, Fakebook has more of an issue with people posting things that they dont agree with about certain politicians than they do with allowing displays of animal cruelty.

Things might be a little lax on FB right now. One of the fish forums I belong to on FB has rules that potential members have to agree to. The rules were done to protect the fish forum and keep it from disappearing from FB. Apparently fish forums have suddenly disappeared because of a FB infraction. All new threads have to be approved by an administrator. Here are some of the rules:

Your content may be removed because of a term/image Meta may flag putting your account at risk. Please ensure your content does "NOT" include: *live feedings *hands on fish/in tank *fish out of water *namecalling- even non-contextual *references to kil_ling/harm/guns/murder/suicide/Covid 19 - jokes too *fishing/hunting photos *talk of eating fish *swearing *graphic content/fighting/gore *animal abuse stories *illegal drugs defined by Meta *criticism of Facebook Admin may specify above

NO TALK OF EATING FISH

This is an animal appreciation group. If you wish to talk of cooking, recipes or eating fish other groups exist for those purposes.

NO FISH OUT OF THE WATER OR HANDLING FISH

These posts will be deleted by Facebook Artificial intelligence and your account may be penalised. No fish out of water, no hands in tank, and no physical handling of fish.

We can't post a picture of our hands on the outside of the tank, if the fish is close by on the inside of the tank. I see all of these things being done on other fish groups on FB right now, and the groups haven't been deleted--so something must have changed on FB.

.....in short,FB is FOS!

I'd like to think I played a small part in causing FB to use that as I have urged others to contact them and complain.....one person alone cannot get through to them.

Fb will let these shiit get away but when it comes to politics that's against their narrative is when they will censor or ban u. Election/covid was a good example. But truth will always come out. Clown world new narrative are transgender

It's not just on Facebook. I came across this earlier on youtube. There are enough comments from viewers on this video, my own included, to show that people do not particularly want to see this type of cruel activity. What are youtube likely to do though? Probably not a lot. The feeding of the turtles is particularly repugnant.
