Animal Meat As Appetizer For Aro(s)

How many of you actually feed pork or chicken meat to your aro(s) as appetizer? Not as staple but once in a while.

Alot may find them too fattening and unnatural. But some may heard that chicken meat can make the fish regain his appetite.

I have been "borrowing" some lean meat from the freezer and my aros seen to love them. Eat until stomach bloated and want more after that. Compared to feeding sw, afew piees of meat actually can fill up a aro faster.

What's your call on this or your exprience?
 
my green hates those... he enjoys balck andmarket shrimp only...
 
I haven't ever fed mine pork or chicken, although I have thought of it. I will add, that the more diversed diet you feed the more aggressive and motivated they will be towards food. Koji, are you feeding the chicken and pork raw or cooked?
 
i used to feed my silver leftover turkey. haven't given any to the jar yet, but i give it my other fish.

I fed mine with both pork and chicken before. Raw definately.:)

Basically I feed those more fattening meat to my other monster fishes which doesnt mind what they're eating:D

Precisely. They just swallow and not chewing most of the time due to fighting for food.:D
