Not sure if one of my male Bahaman anoles is a Puerto Rican crested... Probably not but I'm curious what you guys think.

Same type of deal with my Mississippi Map turtle... Wondering if he might be a Ouachita, since he's been retaining his dorsal knobs very well (I always thought they get less and less defined as they age but they seem to be getting more defined). Again, probably not, but you never know

looks like a female.....can you use the "head-size" chart to be of any use for ID???

I'm having a hard time using the head size descriptions for ID. BUT based on the facial markings, it looks like it's just a Mississippi map.
That's interesting that the anole is a crested... I have another male in there there that I know is a Bahaman, and I was convinced all of my females were Bahamans as well, but the Crested has mated with a few of them? I collected them from a condominium in Florida, so I might've ended up with a mix lol. The place I was staying had mostly Bahamans, a few Greens, but there were some that I knew were Cresteds, as well as others I had never seen before, and even ones that seemed to share traits of more than one species. Anolis is a fascinating genus, it's remarkable how diverse it is.
