this is my first build i allready have a stand it came with a plain open metal stand which i am going to build onto. i am going to screw boards to the metal stand so i can close the stand in and build some cupboards into it. i also want to build a canopy for this tank too. i will try 2 have some pics up tommorow, no promises though wife is due any second.

Just a heads up, I tried that, Failed, It was literally easier to for me to just build it from scratch, Not sure but I think drilling into the metal ( I had metal stand that looked like rounded rods spot welded together) de-stabilizes its structural integrity, when I started drilling in It started getting flimsy on me... BUT GOOD LUCK, try it. lol Just telling you what happened to me lol

thanks i didnt think about that at all it would probly look alot nicer too if i just built the whole thing anyways,
