Ok, right now in my 55g I have a 2-3" JD and a 2-3" GT along with a couple plecos. I can score a couple more 55's for $100 or less each. Should I get atleast one to seperate the JD and GT? Also what would be interesting as far as more SA/CA cichlids for the other 55?

Thanks
Travis

Absolutley!!! That would be the best thing you could do before they hit that special four inch mark (which may be a while for the GT) and tear eachother to pieces. That would be awsome to get them thier own tanks.

Well what happened is I got them from petsmart and I told them that I had a 55g and was looking at the cichlids. She then went on to tell me that I could have a JD, GT, AND Texas in the 55g just fine! I've only had tetras and such before these guys but I didn't think that many y big fish seemed to smart in the tank so I just got the JD and GT. Well, after getting on here I see I might have over shot anyway. So I thought these extra tanks might help that out.

Ohh I am not critisizing you or anything at all. I was just saying that it is a really good idea that you even consider that. Most people would just say oh well lets see what happens. The JD you could probably put another JD in with it for a pair.
