Hey these cichla look to me like any other farmy hybrids but they're being sold as tems... What do you experts think? I've seen them in person and they look exactly like that picture... Any thoughts? Don't think this should be a hard one they're currently about 3 inches... ImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1423001475.359474.jpg

Could be... If they order from wetspot then maybe... fantastic fish gets fish from wetspot. Saw them in person looked nothing like a tem more like a hybrid but I'm no expert...

Fantastic fins seems to know there fish but these small Cichla all look about the same. They usually have some odd balls in that store. I haven't been there since early Jan so I might have to see what new stuff they got in. Cichlid World on Ford rd had Tems but last I was there he had 8 left at 12.99

My lfs orders from wetspot and had the bass from them in stock. it's cheaper to order directly from wetspot than buy from my lfs so since they had them in person I was able to see them and they look exactly like the picture wetspot sent me. Sorry for the confusion....
Jacanaba can you tell me how you knew they are tems? Most of the baby ones I've seen online are often patternless and sport a line running the length of their body and/or when stressed exhibit 3 bars running vertically on their body. Here's a link where i thought these pics made me think they were farmies: http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/f...-up-for-SoCal-People!!-6-7-baby-temensis-bass!!
Thanks for the help
