This is a 20g Back ground I made just havent put it in the tank yet.

This is The New Ideal, It was for my 55g. I wanted to make a Background that would be like a devider. As well. i will be moving my breeding Firemouths next to the Breeding Jacks. But for now-poor Armani will have to pout. Also the spong filters are in there just to help circluate-once tank settles Ill remove them- I did this today ( part 2 atleast )
Part 1

Part 2

Next weekend I got to make a 20g stand but I will be working on the wall that will continue the Background theme above the tank and plant Terr Plants...Should be really Cool so Ill post once I do that.

Hope ya like it
I did!!!!

looks great!! How long after you made it do you have to wait before you can put it in the tank?

thats a beautiful idea.. i wish i was creative how much did that all cost you?

From Part 1 to Part 2 it sat for 3days and from Part 2 to instal, 2days. It needs atleast 18 to 24hours to cure. But I rather that extra day.

and cost was really cheap. $20 to make the 20g and about 50 to make the $55g. Pricing as if you had to buy everything that you would need. In this case tho it cost me less because I had most of the material already.

Either way compaired to the NaturalBackgrounds that are sold for 300-600 dallors, its insain to buy one of them.

I have seen them in person- not as good as I expected, but they are nice. I perffer to DIY backgrounds because its just Too much fun.

lilflats2: great thing about this is anyone can do it- and you dont have to make them crazy detailed- sometimes the simples thing works best- So you should try it, out

is that an oscar if so omg he freiking huge for a 55g. very nice too.

LMAO, Yeah, Thought I mentioned- The 55g is not the Oscar's (Armani) Permanent home. But he is huge, 14"Huge.

The Jacks are for sale so they may or may not remain. Eitherway neither will be in there once the project is done.

I plan to make both sides Biotope styles jsut slightly different them the other. I am really going for an exsibit look.

Thanks for the replys guys, glad you liked it
