Keep on teasing us why don't ya?? I was'nt big on Snakeheads when they were legal here but if I had come across this species back then I certainly would have been.

the one i showed, took 4 weeks approximately before he was all ecstatic and interactive

and BTW if u want him to keep showing that lovely sheen, do provide some insects in its diet

Hey headbanger, I've only had him a week. I agree he is a tad stressed, but still fairly interactive. I have been feeding him on bloodworms and krill so far but my plans are to go get some crickets and super worms for him shortly. I'm not stranger to feeder insects, I have been keepering other channa and arowana for years, plus reptiles for well over a decade. So I usually have some sort of feeder insect bumming around.
He's just over a foot. How big is yours?
