May be some one need to do some genetic test. hahaha..... anyway, i think the appearance must be proven consistant according to the standard set by whoever

well when i got my black diamond it was called black diamond from the exporters long before the hype

Do you still have them, or offsprings from them. It would definitely be very interesting to see their evolution and the genes they pass to their offsprings.
