Inspired by Cohazard's full tank shots, I thought I would share my latest tank config. I changed to the dark substrate and added plants a few months ago, so far all the fish have left the plants alone.

On the note of substrate color, notice the difference between my 2 endis, the lighter color is the older one who was"raised" on a white substrate, the second is my new one which has been raised only on the black. The second was light colored when I first got him but contines to darken as it grows.

Shots of my tank would not complete without the fish that first drew me to Bichirs, my now 9 year old Delhezi.

The Delhezi is 12.5" long. She quit growing some time ago. Here is a shot of her from around 6 years ago.

Last post of my tank as I am getting a little carried away. Here are the last two of my Bichirs. I like to refer to this pic as how to make a 10+ inch sen look really really small :)

Butbotman that is definitely my kind of setup! I love it, it's so beautiful. Do you love the contrast of the black substrate with the glowing green plants? :D

I"m guessing this is a 4'x2' tank? Is that ornate 24"?
