I know there is plenty of these threads out there, but the search button is currently down and plus I'm looking for a specific answer. I have settled on the BDS for my new tank (225g) and have a tractor supply company 15 minutes away. I know they make a couple different grades and I'm not sure which one to get. It will have a few larger new world cichlids and a fire eel. Plus a few plecos. Which one should I get? Anyone have a large tank (180+) with BDS? I'd love to see pics! thanks,

This is my 125 when i had bds in it,it was nice for a while but i got board with it,i like pfs muvh better

I recently converted my 46 bowfront to BDS and used the the 20-40 grit. It's about the same size as PFS.

Do a pfs/bd mix. I love the way it looks in all my tanks

I had it all black but it got old so I threw some pfs back in. Go with what ya want. The mix at tractor supply is 20/40 and cheap.
