Another breeding thread.

Hi,
I have a new female motoro (6") and she is without a doubt the coolest living thing on the planet. I know she's way too small, but I have some breeding questions for the future.

1.) would it be best to get a similarly sized male and raise them together?
2.)My tank is 5'X3'X2'. Is this too small? If so, I have a 10'X12'X2' indoor pond on the way.
3.)How long are rays normally pregnant for?
4.) do I leave the male with her after I'm sure she's pregnant?
5.)How big do they need to be in order to breed?
6.)If I do get pups, How much should I ask for them (selling to lfs)?

2.)My tank is 5'X3'X2'. Is this too small? If so, I have a 10'X12'X2' indoor pond on the way. GOOD SIZE FOR A LONG WHILE
3.)How long are rays normally pregnant for? AROUND 100 DAYS
4.) do I leave the male with her after I'm sure she's pregnant? SOMETIMES YOU NEED TO SEPERATE THE MALE COULD BEAT HER UP PRETTY BAD, AND OR COULD KILL THE PUPS WHEN THEY ARE BORN
5.)How big do they need to be in order to breed? MALE AROUND 10" FEMALE 11-12"
6.)If I do get pups, How much should I ask for them (selling to lfs)? $50-100 EACH IF THEY WILL BUY THEM.

Too big of a male, and your female might get ripped apart, too small of a male, and he cant flip the female. And disc size has nothing to do with when a ray is ready to breed, its all in the claspers, once theyre rolled, they're ready, you cant really tell with a female though.
