well i made a tank a little while ago as a practice for this tank, anyway i went all out and fibreglassed it and pretty much went to town on it to make sure it didnt leak.
the point is, in making that tank i learned quite a bit, im pretty sure that as long as i dont make the tank over 22inches high i could avoid external bracing, what do you guys think?..the tank dimensions will be 96x34x22 so i could also use 10mm glass and still have a safety factor of 3.8....the final thing i plan on doing is i have some glass thread tape used in fibreglassing but i dont plan on using fibreglass, im going to work the glass tape into the seams(corners) using liquid rubber and a paddle roller, letting it set then using liquid rubber on the whole tank(using double the recommended amount). Any input on whether this has been done before or if some of the number crunchers out tere could tell me me if they think it will or wont work..thanks and look forward to hearing the input

When I built my tank about a month ago I layered plywood to avoid using external. My Tank is 30" tall and there is no bowing due to water... I did euro brace the top to avoid such issues though.

i have started work and im in the process of painting liquid rubber, tried the glass fibre tape but it literally peeled off when picked at, post pics soon, not braced but at the top
