Cleveland, Oh.
here it is, i'm thinking of adding a jaguar cichlid to the rest once i get my 180 up and running. i currently have 7" red texas male, 6" female festae 5" dempsey male in a 75 gal. Do you guys & gals think this will work? Thanks

It could. I have 3x jags with fire mouths a jd, and random Africans. That is the tank that beaten fish go to to recover. My jags are harmless at 4" lol BUT and I do mean BUT it will be a trial process and nothing the answer here will write in stone.....

Its quite possible but I think at some point the dempsey will get a good beating. Youll just have to kept an eye on them and see what happens.

depends on the size of the jag. jags are quite territorial and aggressive as you might imagine. once he puts on size i think your other fish need to be watched so you don't end up with a dead one floating in the morning. these guys have fangs ;)

i would say yeah it will work:) 180 is alot of space, but its all down to the jags personality, iam going the same as you, and i have a 4inch jag and hes a wimp, gets beaten by my jd and small con
