Cruising the local CL postings looking for the elusive Eheim canister filter and came across this one...

Read down the fish listing...."aquaclear 500 power filter $30"
So I go check it out, never been used, box was faded from last garage sale it didn't sell at, with the $79 price sticker right on top...bio media still packaged!
So this will put my 90g into monster filter territory...x2 AC-110's and a Cascade 1200!
Might go back for the 45G that needs resealed (housed rats?!) for "a couple bucks"! Would need resealed and does not have a lower frame-I would probably remove everything and start over with new frames and such-a lot of work for an otherwise $40 tank...
I found 1, but need another to complete a side by side on top of a 6' tank.
