another crooked shark dealer

well the title itself is pretty much the story, I paid 300 for a smoothhound in June and surprise surprise I still have nothing in return, I just wanted to warn people about this guy. His name is John Owens and I met him through aqua bid. his seller name is bluewaffles27. It just pisses me off to see all these low life people scamming honest people like myself for a measly 300 bucks. I paid this guy through pay-pal the email address was to Jean McChesney, candy948@ec.rr.com. I knew when i did the payment i was probably screwing myself, but I had let up my guard after dealing with a few other good shark dealers. Just passing the word on here is all I am doing, and if your the person that screwed me you can contact me anytime since you are obviously ignoring my emails now.

also if any of you are considering purchasing a shark from a dealer, I recommend Chris hale (blacktip17), I have done a few orders with him and he is very professional and is easy to contact.

Yes this guy was listed as being out of NC. He also had some other listings for bonnetheads and sharpnoses but out of Alaska (an Atlantic fish in Alaska, go figure). He took me for about $1200. Luckily my CC company was able to get the money back.

That reminds me I have a couple of whale sharks and a blue whale in my bath tub and will sell for cheap. Just send me your money...

Turbo, gotta say man, sweet set up you have going. If you get a chance would love to know who you used to get some of those sharks you have. If you are ever in the Philly area, give me a call and stop by. We can compare stories.

Its got to be John McChesney. Did he have the voice of a real heavy smoker? He took me for 2 grand this summer

Fox, the problem is that unless the purchase was made through EBay, there is no real protection via Paypal. Once the seller has removed the funds from their PP account, Paypal can not return any to the buyer even when the buyer wins the complaint process. I have had this happen a few too many times and am now very wary of doing business with individuals that do not have a solid track record.
