ok i get the ning, but anyway it is now bogged. I go to boil it again and on the side it is open, I can put my finger in and rip out small piebasics of Dw being hard and barkless, well last year I got some reptile wood, never used it, 2 months ago i put it in a bin outside to bog it down. It is hardwood but the way it is made you can see the insides it is hollow on one side. I will post a pic this eveces. Does that mean it is bad for the aquarium. wood is also slimy but i assume it is alge from being outside.
