Another festea sexing thread

I'm leaning towards female, even with all the spangles. The festea has a been growing really nicely and from time to time gets very distinct and dark bars, I don't have a picture of this unfortunately :/ to my knowledge, females also have black pectoral fins and dorsal fins, which mine displays frequently. Any thoughts?

Hard to tell in the pic, but if he/she is displaying black in the front half of the dorsal then I'd say female.

Female if it has black on the front half of the dorsal fin.

Too young to sex. Grow it out and enjoy it whether it is male or female!!!

I was thinking that she was a little young but she's been putting on alot of size/color recently I'm saying she cuz its has been displaying black in the front of the dorsal like u guys said, and I appreciate the input ill try to get a pic of her when she's all colored up for confirmation and I've got my fingers crossed on a female because they're usually less aggressive, smaller and waaaay more colorful

The dorsal really isn't a 100% indicator of being female. I would also say grow it out a bit more to be able to tell for sure. Females aren't always less aggressive either.
