Found fx5's for $199 shipped FREE, in case it helps anyone considering buying 1 or more, especially w/ today's prices, hope it might help someone needing to buy & save $$$ http://stores.ebay.com/MONSTER-PETS . I sincerly hope this is the correct way of sharing info on good deals found. :) :) :)

MonsterFishOwner, I'm a little confused :confused: & please don't take this the wrong way, I'm just hoping you can help me understand a few thing's. There was a previous thread "fluval fx5 canister filter", in which you said:

Now I'm not saying it's impossible to believe that you have just bought 5, fx5's in the last 2 wk's, but for the record are you sure about the names of the businesses you bought from. We're using "specific" business names & are saying things based on "specific" personal experience's that could damage their reputation & cost them money. If the comment's are true then so be it, but if not then that is illegal & could be considered slander, which could possibly result in a lawsuit because of false information, especially if it cost any Co. $$$$, which is of course punishable by a fine & or imprisonment. Another thing I have to ask is, did you or are you in the process of trying to settle this issue/dispute w/ what ever business you bought from which is the process for any prob.'s on eBay. After I chked both stores for any neg. feedback left from customer's, I see where someone named "monsterfishkeeper" bought 3, fx5's from Monster Pet Store, w/ a positive review left about their experience w/ the buyer. I also chked w/ Monster Pet Store, that BTW, has had over 10,700 purchases w/ a 99.8% positive rating, w/ a total of less than 25 neg. responses in all most 11,000 eBay purchases & no neg. responses from customers that have not been resolved in the last few mnth.'s. I know that it's possible that you have not left a response w/ MPS yet, so it is possible that you will at a later date, but at this point, right now there are something's that aren't adding up.
Before I made my original & all subsequent purchases from MPS, I contacted the PHILADELPHIA BBB each time & they have no record of any outstanding complaints. I also have extended family that lives 30 min.'s from their store & visited on my behalf originally & have remained customer's ever since, saying they have never seen anything like it, in a pet store b4.
This is an incredible forum w/ allot of power (i.e. global/world wide) & influence that we have to respect at all times. We have a responsibility to do the right thing when it comes to naming specific businesses that we have had "personal" experiences w/. So if you don't mind will you please share w/ us just a bit more info on your current situation w/ regards to your purchases of your fx5's from Monster Pet Store, so we might better understand. Thank you :) :) :)

If anyone is wondering, no, I have no affiliation w/ this Co. except as a customer in good standing w/ them as they are w/ me.


 
the 3 i got are from POND PASSIONS OUTLET

you remember i stated my friend had 1 and he liked it that was the 3rd the other two came from from monster pets and did not work correctly the first one ran 3 days and just stopped i thought it was just letting air out 8 hours later he calls me and tells me "please come back man its still not running!" so i took 3 fluval 404s i had at the time the second did not work at all so we had a petstore order 1 in and that one is still running for 7-8 months
 
i dont know why my post was deleted but i have heard alot of the people that sell on ebay either buy stuff and try it for awhile and then sell it as new. I have never purchased from any of the people but know people that have from similar stores on ebay.

It says right after the deletion " Reason: accusations w/o references."

If it didn't happen to you and/or you don't have proof, it's hearsay and could be considered slanderous. That's all.
