i purchased these three geos this past spring as G. altifrons. two of them came from the same source, fish A and B, while fish C came from another source. i believe A and B to both be G. abalios while C to actually by a G. altifrons but im still on the fence about it since its smaller, 4". what are your opinions and why?

I'd say all G. abalios but still not 100% sure. The lateral spot just looks too big for altifrons...I could be wrong though. Btw I really like that first pic! Have a happy 4th!!!

not an expert, but geos are my passion. from what I notice on my geos, which I have both Altifrons and Abalios, my abalios have strips on their tail where as the altifrons have dots, I can not fully tell from your pictures, although im 100% sure A is an abalios, B has the same coloration (red and yellow) on the tail as my Altifron, and C I can't really tell. Hope this helps!

Nice Daemons BTW!

They all look like abalios to me. The spot on fish B looks a little small for abalios but otherwise looks the same. The lighting for fish C is very different from the others but the fish has bisected vertical bars which = abalios.

btw fish A is very nice!
